Neither our result nor United's had any bearing on the top 4 race?Proper shit show last night.
Dean, Mason and Attwell doing their best to manipulate results to keep the "top 4 race" exciting.
The dippers ref will no doubt join in later.
Moss has just gone to fetch his 3rd delivery from Just Eat last night to miss the penalty. The referees using var are they working from home or something
Have we appealed the red card? No chance it gets overturnedI'm sure the red card will be changed for us.
I know they said a long time ago that VAR is there to support a refs decision rather than out them for being wrong.
Needs changing, massively.
Have we appealed the red card? No chance it gets overturned
its like live streaming daylight bank robbery .Here’s the thing that confuses me.
The commentary team can hear the to-and-fro between the ref and the VAR. that’s why they can say ‘John Moss is having a look at that.’
So why can’t they release that to us?
We absolutely need transparency, whether we will get it is another debate.Watching Peps post match he constantly reiterates "Nobody gave us anything" and coming from media darlings Barcelona and Munich he knows. It feels corrupt all the way down from Gill to the media via PIGMOL, thank God it was a deadrubber.its like live streaming daylight bank robbery .
It’s more corrupt because it’s a few faceless unaccountable twats in a room miles away from the actual game which clearly doesn’t bode well for anyone challenging their cash cows especially CityThe most hated club in England.VAR makes it more corrupted not less. Its only useful for offside and that rule needs changing too so it's down to the position of the feet. Last night reminded my of Oliver's disgraceful performances at Anfield twice.
"Considered by the referee" is the key phrase there. The keeper was fouled, it was by his own defender, not John Stones that's for sure. Not only is that not a foul by Stones, it is a foul by their goalkeeper on Stones. He jumps on Stones' head. The fact the he is a goalkeeper doesn't give him immunity from the Laws of the Game. He isn't allowed to clear out everything in front of him in an attempt to get the ball.![]()
Useful for offside if they use it. I'm not sure they did for their winner.VAR makes it more corrupted not less. Its only useful for offside and that rule needs changing too so it's down to the position of the feet. Last night reminded my of Oliver's disgraceful performances at Anfield twice.
When referee Mark Halsey claimed he was instructed to 'alter' his match report to say he hadn't seen something a few years back that should have been the catalyst for a full investigation/public inquiry into the standards of refereeing and corruption in football. Instead we got a slanging match in the press which was quickly shut down by the footballing authorities, no doubt by a super injunction against Halsey and others.
It really is bent. There is no other plausible explanation.
It’s the same cheats who call same decisions for and against the same teams.Anyone see the use of VAR last night in the utd game .A quick look at Fernandez missing the ball ( VAR reckoned he touched it ) which then allowed Cavani to be onside .For Fulhams goal they looked at it from Angles never seen before ,the even had the screen split 3 ways .2 the usual way and one at an angle in the top left of the screen . It looked like this / I I if that makes sense .
Chelsea won though so how has their inept performance kept it interesting? I genuinely just think they are absolutely fuckin useless. How Attwell has managed to get back into the prem is beyond me... Need to start calling him Jellyfish coz the spineless twat gave us nothing all night. Don't think it's corruption though because how does us getting beat affect anything? He is just a shit house ref who gave the side with thousands of people in the ground everything.Proper shit show last night.
