Anyone see the use of VAR last night in the utd game .A quick look at Fernandez missing the ball ( VAR reckoned he touched it ) which then allowed Cavani to be onside .For Fulhams goal they looked at it from Angles never seen before ,the even had the screen split 3 ways .2 the usual way and one at an angle in the top left of the screen . It looked like this / I I if that makes sense .

Here’s the thing that confuses me.

The commentary team can hear the to-and-fro between the ref and the VAR. that’s why they can say ‘John Moss is having a look at that.’

So why can’t they release that to us?

Not only is that not a foul by Stones, it is a foul by their goalkeeper on Stones. He jumps on Stones' head. The fact the he is a goalkeeper doesn't give him immunity from the Laws of the Game. He isn't allowed to clear out everything in front of him in an attempt to get the ball.

"Considered by the referee" is the key phrase there. The keeper was fouled, it was by his own defender, not John Stones that's for sure.

Instead we got a slanging match in the press which was quickly shut down by the footballing authorities, no doubt by a super injunction against Halsey and others.

It really is bent. There is no other plausible explanation.

It’s the same cheats who call same decisions for and against the same teams.

Atwell have one of the most corrupt performances I’ve seen last night and he was on Var and decided no penalty on Sterling v Chelsea.

Hooper who laughably allowed the Rags goal last night was also on Var when he denied Brighton a penalty v the Rags and in the same game gave the Rags a penalty after full time to win the game.

Moss is generally not fit for purpose but how he decided Jesus was not a penalty and how the studs up tackle on Gundog was not a red should have him removed from games,it was that bad.

For me, the club does not do enough to stop these sort of officiating performances. Can you imagine Ferguson’s interview if last night happened against him. As we are too well behaved, we give refs an easy option. shall I give a decision against Brighton which will have fans on my back or give it incorrectly v City as they won’t cause a fuss.

Chelsea won though so how has their inept performance kept it interesting? I genuinely just think they are absolutely fuckin useless. How Attwell has managed to get back into the prem is beyond me... Need to start calling him Jellyfish coz the spineless twat gave us nothing all night. Don't think it's corruption though because how does us getting beat affect anything? He is just a shit house ref who gave the side with thousands of people in the ground everything.
