Ref Watch

He could have. The ball hit Dias’ arm before Sterling tapped in.

Remember how we all thought Robertson’s goal should have been chalked off last weekend?

Should this one have too? It was the last touch before Sterling shot, unlike Salah last weekend.
Yeah, I saw that on that wretched MotD show (my ERO was in residence - I'd already seen the highlights!) and said that had travelled down someone's arm, just like the instance when we had that goal disallowed a season or two back when it grazed a hair on a City arm.

That David Coote is an absolute idiot - how did he get a FIFA badge? He’s utter shit.

Thought Coote did alright. Got a couple wrong for each side but not biased.

VAR ruling out Laporte’s header was the big one and nothing to do with Coote.

And it was the right decision. You can see he was offside before they even had drawn the lines.
It was judged on the basis of his arm being offside and was tight as anything. They’ve been giving them as goals when they’re that tight all year.

Really ? I thought he was decent tonight

I think people were upset he didn’t send off Toney, conveniently forgetting Fern started it a few seconds earlier. Ref handled it perfectly by warning them both. Both were bookings at best

Far too many on both sides rolling around tonight With barely any contact. It was quite pathetic really

It was his where his shirt sleeve meets his under armour that was where the line was drawn. I thought they’d given leniency to those when it’s very tight.

Kane got one ruled out for very similar, they still seem to be going for those really tight ones too.
