Twatwell is always dreadful. He lets things go then loses control of the game. How he’s kept his job I’ve no idea.

Remember the home game v wolves years ago when he was pathetic.
 
It was the same as Taylor's last performance against us at Anfield. Let players do what they want.

They aren't being biased against us (mostly), but are reffing it in a way that evens out the teams a little. Gives the opposition more of a chance than if they ref properly.

Comes back to the Premier League wanting different winners and for the league to be close and 'exciting'. It's not that they hate us now, just that they wouldn't want anyone to dominate. They'll do everything they can to help Arsenal now that they're in a good position. Or Newcastle for that matter.

Not only that, Rico was booked about 10 seconds after he'd been shoved over off the ball and nothing given. He then ended up fouling the Leeds player and being booked when it should have been stopped for a freekick for us.
 
Very very poor by the ref tonite. In contrast to the standard we became use to in the world cup ( apart from that Spanish ref who gave almost everybody a yellow- including the bench- to make sure Argentina won. The one who sent Pep off in a CL game when Pep was wearing his yellow Catelonia emblem)

First player booked is nearly always a City player and usually for fuck all.

We've done very well to come out of that with 3 points and without any serious injuries.

And Ederson inevitably gets a time-wasting yellow after 80 minutes of the entire opposition doing 5x worse
 
Started off OK.
Then didn’t book a single Leeds player for continual fowling. Just continuous warnings.
Then felt sorry for Leeds after City’s 3rd went goal in and started booking City players left, right and centre.

Can only presume he pulled it back for something that had happened earlier, otherwise that was a fucking ludicrous decision. Not seen a proper replay, but Cancelo seemed less incensed than I was so assumed I’d missed something.

ZERO contact from Cancelo. There looked to be a SLIGHT tug by Haaland just prior to that, but in the context of everything else Atwell gave all game absolutely nothing in it.
