Ref Watch

The red card was the worse one. Nothing wrong with their goals. They were still getting the soft calls.

For me, refereeing bias isn't about us not getting the BIG decisions (BUT the pull on Laporte from a corner in the first half WAS a pen IMO), it's about the constant giving of free-kicks to the opposition when they fall to the floor after minimal contact, whilst simultaneously either waving away blatant trips and fouls on us, or continually playing non-existent advantage because we've "still got the ball".

It

happens

EVERY

game

we

play

:(

We are 100% refereed under a different set of thresholds to every other "big" team.

Fucking booked for time wasting after 36 minutes? Do me a favour!
I agree with everything you said, but about Ederson being booked for time-wasting: He gets booked more times than any other keeper, but I belive he's just shit at wasting time. It's bleeding obvious most of the time. Like going up to the ball, delaying, then defer the goal kick/free kick to someone else. Or taking just too much time getting started from a stand-still.

If you look at Martinez' time-wasting, he walks slowly to fetch the ball, slowly goes to the other side of the 5 yard line, slowly goes back, kicks the post a few times. The actual time he is standing still before kicking it is 4-5 seconds, but in reality he has wasted 40-50 seconds.

Tottenham player went down injured and received treatment on the pitch, he then jogs to the half way line and referee lets him back on the pitch before play restarts, going back to Kyle’s yellow card, Taylor should of allowed him back on the pitch but chose not to, no consistency or it is when Taylor referees us fucking dodgy

Er, yes, of course it is. Apart from the use of arms/hands. The only reason the forest defender put his hands on Haaland was to impede. Soft yes, but the intention was there. (And before you say again that Haaland is a big lad, it doesn’t matter if the player touched is built like a brick outhouse or a wispy Silva. That just feeds the unconscious bias that I think many refs have, in that we’re better than that and don’t need the fouls that other teams are given).

We will never agree on this, just like I imagine we would never agree that the Fernandez goal in the derby was off side as rashford was impeding/interfering with play. That subjectivity with the interpretation of the laws of the game mean I think we are often fucked over.

`I agree the Fernandez goal shouldnt have stood.....i think there was interference - but the rules allow that goal to be given as I said on here at the time....The rule needs to be changed and made clearer/more solid/less open to interpritation...for me if you are on the field of play and in the attacking half you are interfering with play as you will affect the defenders positioning

As for whether its Haaland or Silva you are right it doesnt matter - whether its either of them what the defender did yesterday isnt a foul..it wouldnt even make Silva fall over unless he deliberately goes down.....too much of that in the game - Grealish is another who does it way way too much

Fair enough, though I disagree that the offside rule was applied properly at the rags, but agree that the leeway to interpret rules means there is huge inconsistency. That inconsistency is creating more aggression, but taking away physicality if that makes sense.

Perhaps Haaland just thought, fuck it, I’m always getting pinged if I lay a hand or use my arm on a defender, my team had a goal chalked off at Anfield for that reason, so a player has pushed me with his hand, it has to be a free kick.

And perhaps I wouldn’t be on here talking about Haaland with you if I didn’t think we always get the thin end of the wedge with decisions e.g other teams are allowed to waste time against us as it’s a nice leveller, but as soon as we do it the yellow card is out.

Grealish gets kicked all over the fucking pitch..

It was a clear penalty.

You can argue all day if it was a foul but the one thing it definitely wasn’t was ‘clear’

When I’m considering a decision for City, I like to apply the United test.

Can you put your hand on your heart and say if that was a United player you would simply say… Yep, fair enough clear foul?

It must have been agony all these years for Mason pretending to be a Bolton fan, at least he will have peace with himself and can finally "come out" as a dirty rag
If it's true(big if) he (or some other rag shill)has been caught bang to rights saying "levelling up" then they need to be arrested and punished with the full weight of the law. PIGMOL taking the easy way out won't cut it.
