Referees’ Performances 2018/19

I was genuinely shocked by Friends performance today. There were at least half a dozen obvious decisions he just let ride. I've always been a bit wary of there being a refereeing conspiracy but today really got me questioning that position.
And it was only yesterday that made you think? Really?
Its been as clear as night follows day whats bin happening in the prem ref wise, ever since the elite refs got wired up....and tbh before then too.
Its a good job we are such a good team.the players know whats going on and that drives them on ,imo.....Kevin Friend is a very experienced, top ref...no way did he make' mistakes' yesterday....he absolutely knew what he was doing, and was chosen accordingly.

80% possession and our first free kick I believe was 31 minutes, watching it back there was 4 free kicks that should have been given before the one he actually blew for. The amount of times he stood ‘purposefully’ in the area we were playing was unbelievable, he couldn’t have been better positioned if Scotty Parker was briefing him. Absolutely disgusting performance and so clearly bent it was laughable, beyond the anger stage at times.
Refs must get trained/coached where to stand in order to block off the passing channels. Far too many people have noticed this now, there must be something in it..and yet..its not an easy thing to do....imagine the training that goes into it,ffs!

I thought Friend’s defensive positioning yesterday was world class — he may be the perfect replacement for Dinho.

Txiki sign him up!

He cartainly showed high technical ability in reading the passing triangles which our players like to create, and did his very best to stop them....i just dont see refs getting in the way, to such a degree, when other teams are attacking

Interesting.do all the officials go to the same location after the game ...i doubt they all live in the same area..

I think they all have to leave the ground together, I remember one of the bent but now retired ones decided he was above that rule and left separately after one game for which he got in trouble. I am sure one of the more knowledgeable posters will tell me who it was.
