Exactly this, remember when var was first brought in all the hype was that it’s there to correct clear and obvious errors made by the on field officials, doesn’t get more clear and obvious than when it’s a goal kick not a corner or vice versa, especially if a corner is given in error and a team scores from the wrongly given corner.Funnily enough, to my eyes at least, that’s exactly what VAR should be used for. Refs made a mistake, easy to tell it’s a goal kick, so just give a goal kick.
If the VAR can see with one look that it’s a goal kick/corner or a throw in the other way, just give it.
Anything that needs slowing down or drawing lines, leave it alone.
