Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

Far from the worst we have been subjected to this season, but some of his decisions were baffling.

The card he gave Eddie for time wasting almost seemed like a stand up routine in the context of what opposition teams (including Fulham) are allowed to get away with against us (something really has to be done about the referees stopping play for feigned injuries 98% of players miraculously fully recover from 2 minutes later).
I wish Pep would bring this point up in his usual sarcastic way in post game interviews ie congratulate PGMOL for upholding the rules of the game perfectly, for one team

Another cheat,
A very card happy ref whose last 4 games have produced, 5,6,6,7 cards forgot them today. Ignored 2 nailed on cards for them 1st half and they ended up with 1 card in 10 fouls from this usually card happy ref.
Then the usual bullshit booking Eddy when opposition players waste far more time and Silva so we get 2 cards yet only conceded 4 fouls.
There must be a directive from PGMOL on how little our opponents get cards and how often Dipper opponents get soft cards
Obviously 30 seconds is the new 45+ seconds that the Arsenal keeper was allowed to get away with.

Weird how that works.

So their keeper walks to gather the ball for a goal kick, walks to the opposite site of area from where the ball went out, holds on to the ball and then rolls it to the centre half who then eventually passes it back to the keeper, no card and only one minute injury time. Ederson places the ball in the wrong place, ref says nothing so he moves it forward again, Ederson gets booked. Raya catches a ball, falls down under no pressure and despite there being a six second rule holds onto it for 20 seconds continuously, no card. Makes sense to me. City should put a video together of all of Raya’s time wasting and Leon’s from today then one incident ft Ederson and ask the PL who gets booked. Utter joke.

At least the dippers got two cards for their 15 (fifteen) fouls and the arse didn’t get any but they only managed ten fouls. Palace got four cards from seven fouls so the referee was consistent.

Absolutely. It really is unbelievable how we are treated

Same as the same fixture last season, 17 fouls each and Palace had 7 yellows inc the softest 2nd yellow for a red and Dippers got 2, in the 91st and 97th minute when the ref decided it was too obvious.
The lack of cards dippers get compared to their opposition is a joke

I hesitate to even mention Milner at Liverpool…
