Well it is a problem when he books a player for one team but not the other team for the same offenceNot a problem as long as he is consistently inconsistent.

If the referee decides that there has been sufficient mind games to put the penalty taker off then it should be treated as encroachment and the penalty retaken if missed. On Boxing Day there must have been almost five minutes from the referee awarding the penalty to Haaland eventually missing it. Pickford was literally using every time wasting trick in the book and it worked.
Three days later Ortega gets a yellow card. It was deserved but Christ it smacks of inconsistency.
Either that or City need to study at shithousery college because we're hopeless at time wasting
I think he was telling him to go back and take the throw from the right place but then let him get away with it regardless.I noticed something very weird at the game yesterday.
At one point West Ham had a throw in and player tried to steal 5 yards. Referee immediately gestured to player he had to throw it backwards. Hadn’t seen that before.

The thing that got me when Coleman was into Haalands ear was that none of our players went to confront Coleman whilst he was doing it. I cant imagine any top sides players allowing that to go on for so long, with a player that has previous for this type of mouthing off, without getting involved. Instead our players left Haaland on his own.If the referee decides that there has been sufficient mind games to put the penalty taker off then it should be treated as encroachment and the penalty retaken if missed.
That’s been a City trait for too long..thank fuck for the brief period Andy Morrison turned it around. The thing that got me when Coleman was into Haalands ear was that none of our players went to confront Coleman whilst he was doing it.
