The first foul by cash today was a stonewall yellow.. but he didn’t get booked until his third
He wasnt the reason we lost but the way he ran the game was a joke. We committed one foul in the first half. Just after the second half started Rico fouled someone and was booked. OK some might say he deliberately broke up an attacking move but surely the vast majority of fouls do that.
Grealish fouled all game, only Cash booked for it. Grealish does one minor foul, more in frustration and hes booked.
Different standards still apply

Cash shouldnt have been on the field to commit a 3rd foul, he'd already committed 2 cardable fouls and should've been off.
Rico & Jack booked for first fouls,Jack after been kicked up & down for 60 minutes.
Standards are the worst they've ever been and dropping every day under RedWebb !!

The 1st wasn't carded because the referee wanted to "manage the game". Even the comms said the 2nd should've resulted in a yellow (even going so far as to forget it wasn't issued and thought he was taking a walk when he did eventually get booked).Shit ref performance.

I thought it had to be 2nd yellow for the penalty but apart from that & a few decisions either way was ok.

No real issues yesterday. It's almost as if referee performances are inversely proportional to if we are winning games.

Fair enough. But I wouldn't class that as a real issue. Weird shit happens, especially to our keepers :)
Like Ederson, Ortega is not very good at timewasting. The trick is to constantly look as if you’re busy, positioning and repositioning the ball, waving your arms at team-mates, always on the verge of playing the ball without actually doing it. Wandering around, everything in slow motion is just asking for trouble

On Boxing Day there must have been almost five minutes from the referee awarding the penalty to Haaland eventually missing it. Pickford was literally using every time wasting trick in the book and it worked.
Three days later Ortega gets a yellow card. It was deserved but Christ it smacks of inconsistency.
