I think u are wrong ,nothing to do with the colour of the card, it was a clear and obvious errorIf VAR don't think it's a red they can't get involved.
They can't recommend yellows or free kicks, stupid as it is!

Or possibly just biased and keen to protect their pal Atwell who missed it from five yards away.If they thought that then they must be fucking idiots.
Penalty? They always check for potential penalty incidents which has no bearing on Henderson flapping the ball out of Haalands path outside the box. Red card all day, agreed, for which VAR should have recommended a look at the monitor. What an absurd rule. So they would have ignored a penalty (if they weren’t looking for it) and no red card was involved. A total farce. Of course it was 100 per cent a red card. The officials are just lying to us as usual. They won’t release the tape will they?
And around me. But hey. We paid a fortune to be there. Little Jimmy from Mumbai who turned over two minutes earlier just to see what was happening - at least he knew what VAR was about.Because everyone round me thought he’d stopped play to check for a possible penalty to Palace, when the VAR sign came up on the scoreboard.
Does that mean a player can pick the ball up , run with it and throw it in the opposition net and get given the goal because they look at the position of the ball after the offence? It's in the back of the net, goal?If they thought that then they must be fucking idiots.
We bore ourselves to death without the aid of the officials!3 minutes from the award of the penalty to the taking of it. Almost 2 minutes post the decision being confirmed by VAR.
Marmoush was stood with 5 yards behind the ball on the spot for 50 seconds before the referee blew his whistle. Delays for no reason at all.
They are complicit in slowing the game down and boring us all to death.
That's correct, but it was a potential red card. We absolutely know that because many of the pundits thought it should have been a red card, and the media are debating whether or not it was a red card offence.
So at the very least, the VAR should have referred it back to Attwell for him to review it, especially as neither he nor the linesman saw the handball.
Attwell could then have viewed the incident and either red carded Henderson or deemed it not a red card and taken no further action. The VAR denied him that opportunity.
I think the ball went out pretty quickly and then it stopped for a VAR check.
Incidentally, and just to sum up the FA on this, I just went to their official Youtube channel to check the highlights of the final, and this complete red card cock up wasn't considered important enough to include in their highlights video. Funny that. Nor did it appear in their 'key moments' video. So it turns out us, every pundit and all of the media are just kidding ourselves. It was just a minor moment that had no impact on the game whatsoever.
Burying the evidence of their incompetence.
ETA: Actually, the City channel shows the full play. They clear it and I'd guess (because it's cut) that it just goes to VAR at the next stoppage.
Hell, even the Palace Youtube channel shows it. But the FA too cowardly as usual.
Edited for accuracyThat's correct, but it was a potential red card. We absolutely know that because many of the pundits thought it should have been a red card, and the media are debating whether or not it was a red card offence.

Even dodgy dermot can't come up with a fucking excuse for the decision, that sums it up. The more i see it and the more its analysed the more and more my mood goes down. Its a fucking horrific decision.Ref watch on Sky, unanimous verdict a straight red for Henderson, cheated.
Yet we all know that the club will do fuck all about it as per usual.Even dodgy dermot can't come up with a fucking excuse for the decision, that sums it up. The more i see it and the more its analysed the more and more my mood goes down. Its a fucking horrific decision.
What I meant is that hypothetically as they checked for handball/red card they had also seen a foul in the box on Haaland would they have ignored it unless it was a red card? It just shows that VAR is still subjective. I still don't understand how Atwell missed it. I wonder what was said on the tapes between the officials? Just a disgrace really and now they are lying to cover it up. If Henderson doesn't touch the ball then Haaland scores.Penalty? They always check for potential penalty incidents which has no bearing on Henderson flapping the ball out of Haalands path outside the box. Red card all day, agreed, for which VAR should have recommended a look at the monitor.
Once VAR has decided it isn't a DOGSO, in their view ball going away from goal, then that is the end of the matter VAR cannot be involved with yellow cardsI think u are wrong ,nothing to do with the colour of the card, it was a clear and obvious error
Let's just call it what it was. It was a bent decision. It is not possible for the VAR team to see it any other way then a red card. What did they say to Atwell? Why can't the paying customers who paid up to £400 for tickets get to hear the conversation. This is a bent process. Why did the official FA "key moments" highiights video not show this major incident? It smells like a conscious decison not to show the corruption in plain sight.Even dodgy dermot can't come up with a fucking excuse for the decision, that sums it up. Spot on,and even if they do release the audio I’d be extremely sceptical over it as they could edit it or redo the bloody thing you just wouldn’t know, why can’t we have it like in rugby ref talking away to the TMO during whatever incident be it a high tackle or a possible try and putting it up on screens with different angles to confirm. The whole thing just stinks of something dodgy going on to assist certain teams and hamper others in games, while we have no transparency over what is being said between VAR and ref live ..Let's just call it what it was.
