Thanks for that. Never came across him before so made an assumptionnot quite that green.
10th PL match this season, 29th PL match total.
But if you mean first game with City, then you're right.

Just like last seasons final, blatant foul on Erling Haaland and penalty mysteriously not awarded. That foul was as blatant as the one in the box against Southampton recently where apparently there " wasn't enough contact ". Some still insist there is no agenda. Are we ever going to hear anything about that pathetic VAR decision from the cuo final from an official standpoint? Are we really letting them get away with it?
This should be a line in the sand moment. Such a pathetic decision in English football's biggest game. They absolutely knew they had to send Henderson off but they made the conscious decision to not carry out their duties and let him stay on the pitch all because they didn't want to "ruin the occasion".
I know we like to stay quiet in these sort of situations but we really should come out and say something about this. The whole situation was so blatantly wrong.

Was Saliba’s rescinded ? Or was that the other arse bandit? He's completely in on goal mate. Similar to the Saliba one v Bournemouth. Once you wrap your arm round a player and they're in on goal the distance shouldn't matter.
Thankfully they quickly returned the favour.
At 35 I think he might be too old to get nominated for a FIFA Badge? He has been fast tacked through the system these last few years.
A lot of people see him as potentially a referee destined for the very top of the profession.
What is shocking is that the BBC and FA are making available the Cup Final highlights with lies in the commentary, repeated 3 times, (by VAR, the BBC commentor and then Shearer), about the ball 'travelling away from goal' prior to the incident. Are we ever going to hear anything about that pathetic VAR decision from the cuo final from an official standpoint? The bbc won’t care, they’ve got an agenda to keep. What is shocking is that the BBC and FA are making available the Cup Final highlights with lies in the commentary, repeated 3 times, (by VAR, the BBC commentor and then Shearer), about the ball 'travelling away from goal' prior to the incident.
In truth, the ball was heading directly to goal before it was swatted away by Henderson outside the area. I sent a complaint directly to the BBC about this bias and repeatedly promoting blatant lies.
Personally I believe the club should complain as well? It's clear, obvious and totally unacceptable.
To people that didn't see the whole game and catch the widespread condemnation to not send off Henderson it totally distorts what happened.
From the highlights they are currently showing with lies being spoken it appears a reasonable action, which clearly it wasn't if only truthful statements are allowed!
Or when mistakes appear to be in City’s favour (whether or not they really are - Rhodri v Everton).Have the PGMOL commented on the DOGSO from Saturday yet? I thought Howard Webb went on the telly and explained decisions or apologised for mistakes. Or is that only when Liverpool or Arsenals are involved?
Do we ever?Start a petition, it needs to be done.
Very disappointed with our owners if they don’t pursue it, it’s disgusting.
I’m just repeating what was said in the refereeing community, hence the ?. Perhaps he will be the next Mike Dean?I’ve no idea about age restrictions. I think he had a very bad injury a few years ago that held him back for a while.
Taylor was a similar age when he became a Premier League regular and is still getting some of FIFA’s top games though.
AND it was Jo……..my mind went back to when Terry was sent off for a similar offence on Jo,the incident was much closer to the goal yet the red was rescinded as it was decided the forward had too far to travel
There are no age restrictions nowadays. Once over you had to retire from the top flight at 45. That was overturned years ago under employment law. As long as you pass the fitness and health tests you are good to go these days.I’m just repeating what was said in the refereeing community, hence the ?. Perhaps he will be the next Mike Dean?
