Even beyond the ridiculous 8 minutes and penalty, every single little nudge by our midgets was a foul on their giants, yet when they blatantly shoved or blocked us it was play on every time. One of the most one sided, agenda driven refereeing performances I've seen in a while and after the Spurs game as well you do have to worry that the message has been sent out to try and slow us down

I feel like referees try and balance out the games and allow weaker opposition to put an extra 20% on all tackles.

It's a form of handicapping like they do in horseracing to somehow 'balance' things out, it's nonsensical but seems to get a pass whenever weaker opposition takes on more skilled ones. The origin of cynical or 'tactical' fouling really

I wasn't initially sure whether it was just pure incompetence, as he IS a shite referee, but for me, it was the excepton which proved the rule, when he gave a free kick against Leicester, late in the game, for some offence in our box, during a totally non threatening situation, but he 'missed' a whole catalogue of constant, blatantly obvious, wrestling moves, by people like Maguire, all game, in much more dangerous circumstances, when it looked like he might get a header in on target.

He didn't 'miss' those at all, he chose to ignore it.

Madley is an inept referee and has screwed City in two consecutive matches he’s officiated. Pep will have to mentally prepare the team for the inevitable the next time he’s listed for their fixture

I agree entirely. We see blatant pens regraded by ex-Whistling Wankers and ex-pros, and the softest nudge entails the Laws of the Game being rewritten by the same set of vested interests.

Jeez, I've just seen the pen that Madman Madley came up with last night. That Leicester guy has got to be charged, or does the FArce in its infinite wisdom only charge players when their team wins. That decision just shows how ridiculous some of the refereeing has been this season. Madley's bulk only allowed him to see that incident from the rear, and before a pen is awarded it should be looked at from multiple angles. We get two booked for diving and the opposition get a pen for diving. Totally, totally unacceptable from a world sport. ARE YOU FUCKIN' LISTENING, FArce, UEFA and FICKFUFA!
