Apart from the timewasting where it's been covered on here that we need a visable clock that stops when play is dead there were 2 blatent kicking the ball away incidents, 1 around 102 and one right in front of the SS.

A pound to a penny we'd have 2 cards.
 
Getting this off my chest before I forget, but what was that free-kick against Danilo late in the game? That was exactly like Dean waving play on against Huddersfield in the dying moments when Bernardo was bowled over. Marriner was intent on giving Southampton a chance to get the ball into the box and win it.

Another stinking season from the officials, from the start to the finish, and I simply cannot wait for VAR.
 
Usual performance or should i say non performance.

Managed to see a foul anytime Austin went down or any other Saints player it seemed and all credit to him and his x-ray eyes to see through 2 players to spot an apparent handball from sane lol.

Also got the required late free kick in for them in a dangerous position in an attempt to get them the goal.

Never mind Andre......
 
Mike Dean topped off his disastrous season last night.How he failed to send off the Villa keeper for his handball denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity last night was beyond belief.
More importantly means Villa have their No.1 keeper available for the play off final
