I didn't think it was a pen, the replay from the side shows the ball spin after it goes past Forster, so he must have had a touch. I was actually surprised BT kept pushing it as I thought it was quite clear he touched it.

I did think the ref was quite inconsistent with his cards today though.

Discussed elsewhere and explained well by Graham Poll at half time yesterday, clear penalty. The slightest of touch by the keeper is inconsequential as he then brings Sane down and stops a goal scoring opportunity.

we will never rid ourselves of bent refs. we simply have to score too many goals to let that matter.

I didn't think it was a penalty at first because I thought the keeper pushed it onto Sane and he tripped, so I can completely understand why it wasn't given. But looking back at the replays then it's obvious to anyone it is a penalty because Sane still has a chance to score after the keeper touches it but gets brought down.

Sorry but that is a load of nonsense.

The ref only gives the penalty if he is sure an offence has been committed. If it takes a review of all the angles to determine if it's a penalty or not how can you expect him to give it? He cannot guess it's a penalty.

Swarbrick hasn't stiffed us half as much as most referee's this season. He got one ore two decisions wrong, but overall he was okay.

Other refereeing displays this season have been unquestionably bent.

Clattenburg guessed at a handball by sterling last year to give a penalty against us...
