Referees/Officials

While we're on the subject of offside and video refereeing - To guarantee propriety every possible offside should be recorded and the TV refereeing decision for each records - again accessible by the club at least (but ideally by anyone).

Just wondering what will happen to the ref running the line who said the ball went out when it clearly didn't cross the goal line. Probably end up getting a huge bonus by the FA for making such a huge mistake. I would like someone from the FA organising committee to publish in the press how they are going to compensate MCFC for their failure in appointing this so called assistant in the 1st place. As this huge mistake in all probability has cost us a place in this years FA Cup Final.

I get where you are coming from but if that was the case that they are simply not good enough then surely they wouldn't be good enough for both teams? both teams committed 20 fouls Sunday, one team picked up 5 yellows the other picked up 2. Best case of us being refereed differently is Kun getting booked for lobbing the keeper when offside at Burnley whilst Son getting away with the same thing at home to us - it was the same ref!

Up until this season I didn't have the victim mentality however it is very clear to see we don't get treated the same as other teams. If the refs wasn't good enough then the old "they even themselves up" would actually happen or at least come close to happening.
Very well said.
I wasnt aware of the disparity in punishment for the sergio /Son incidents..well spotted.

33000 city fans may as well have stayed at home and saved a small fortune, its beyond the point of being honest mistakes, it's corrupt to the core, i dont believe in the integrity of the game anymore, scudamore bemoaning his lost viewers because of united struggling, Gill sat cosily in the FA, it all stinks to high heaven, last season was bad, this season has been fraud, it just isn't possible to be on the end of so many game changing decisions, if we get a shocker tomorrow, i feel i might just get up and go home

It's more than the decisions, it's who the decisions were against. Luiz, Walker, Milner, Monreal - all game changing decisions against our direct rivals. Fair enough every team gets the shitty end of the stick a few times throughout the season but none as obviously as us, and not in as many crucial games.

We've been screwed out of nine points against rivals which would have put us right into the mix regarding the title. Also add the ridiculous decision by Clattenburg at Goodison Park when Robles should have been sent off for bringing down Sterling.

Refresh my memory, please. I have no memories of some clubs getting the shitty end of the stick from referees.
