OK, for the VAR apologists, lets say Raya was fouled. However, Pablo is himself being fouled. The justification for disallowing the goal is based on the order of the fouls.

Pablo was fouled by Trossard, before he fouled Raya. So why no penalty?

If there was just a sniff of consistency with fouls on the keeper, or even just fouls in general, we could all have a chance of being able to accept these decisions but, every subjective decision has become THE focal point of too many games & matches are being decided by subjective reffing.
I’m sure the online gambling syndicates are delighted though.

I think most could see why a foul could be given.

The uproar is about the lack of consistency, that seems to benefit Arsenal more than most.

Also, the line for what a clear and obvious error should be, if a decision takes 4 mins to deliberate.

Also, if a foul is given on the keeper, why not a proper check on the two or three fouls on West Ham players happening simultaneously.
