Referees' Performances | 2025/26

I think it's just about a foul, but there's also 3 Arsenal players fouling WHU players.

But I am absolutely fed up of the way referee's pick and choose when to apply the letter of the law and even more fed up with the way commentators and pundits let them off the hook.

A couple of weeks ago, we had Anthony Taylor - backed up by VAR, refuse to send Gabriel off for a headbutt - something that has categorically always been a red card. We then had pundits praising the referee for letting the game breathe and justifying the decision because the context of the game was that it was a high-stakes title run in game. Incidentally, rather than serve the subsequent 3 game ban, Gabriel has just helped Arsenal to 9 points and 3 clean sheets.

The goal WHU scored today has been given time and time again this season - often to the benefit of Arsenal.
Too right, the commentators fuck me off

‘We don’t want to see players sent off for that in games like this’

Yes, yes we fucking do. If it’s a red card in Burnley - Brentford in a mid table nothing game it’s a red card in City - Arsenal in a title race

Must admit, that winds me up. Apply the fucking rules! I don't care what game it is or what minute of the game.

Apart from gooner fans, can there be anybody who doesn't see the corruption which has played the major role in putting this disgraceful team where they are in the league.

Week after week we have witnessed their players cheating, fouling, time wasting and getting so much leeway from referees and VAR officials,.whilst other clubs have been denied similar treatment. PGMOL officials are exempt from being questioned or challenged about their decisions, whilst Howard Webb accepts no responsibility for the clear errors from his officials.

Corruption and coercion runs through the performances and actions of their officials and yet they are never held to account. This is cheating on plain site and benefits certain clubs within the PL , the majority being owned by US owners. Coincidence or the explanation.for this corruption ?

So many of them having history.of corruption within their own sports ?

The PL executives including Richard Masters being interviewed and selected by rags and dippers - pure coincidence.

Arsenal being the club.originating the complaint about City ?

All perfectly honest and above board, highly questionable.?

Far too many coincidences to be ignored, and only the excellence of Pep and his teams in winning 4 successive league titles prevented the PL from achieving their objectives of influencing and corrupting the outcomes .

Arsenal are their chosen team to frustrate the honesty and integrity of the league competition for this season.

To be honest the officials found themselves in the worst possible moment. A potentially title/relegation defining moment.
They decided West Ham's relegation would cause less scrutiny.

It was technically a foul. I really feel that.
But what they have let go all season means they put themselves in a position that every supporter would reference incidents throughout the previous months.
Arse's goal at OT on Day 1. The continue blocking at set pieces by gabriel, saliba etc... that have led to so many goals. There's loads of examples.

It was one of those where, I'm sure, they hoped there'd be no controversy.
Do I think it would have been given if arsenal were a couple of goals up?
Yeah! Cos they'd have still won and it would justify everything else they've let go all season.

Next week, when they in control against Burnley, they'll be penalised. Same at Palace.

City but more so, West Ham were properly stiffed by the Premier League today through their influence on VAR. Helping Arsenal and Tottenham in plain sight.
Coincidentally two of the "established" clubs who were at the forefront of insisting on our charges have benefited , the whole game stinks and the media know this and are happy to feed the lies , and its exactly why our club is fighting Richard Masters tooth and nail against the charges , we are not taking a "pinch" this time , no fine to keep everyone happy , fuck 'em , lets go to war , we have been treated as outcasts despite all our dominance and success.
We need Pep next season , to spend another £1m and win the quadruple , let them cry about that.

Ultimately they have absolutely ruined the game
Every week they make loads of errors on VAR
They have no idea at all what they are doing, but they then feel the need to tell us an hour later the reason they were right.

Who is actually in 'control' of these games. because it clearly isn't the on-field referee.

Chris Kavanagh blew his whistle for a fouls in the 87th minute of West Ham vs Arsenal in todays game with West Ham in a predominantly attacking position.

He seemingly did not know why he had blown it, looked towards his assistant, and then awarded Arsenal a free-kick for absolutely fuck all. The West Ham bench complained, and he sent one of them off for their troubles.

Just look back at the Leicester 15-16 season or the Chelsea 16-17 season. Absolutely loads of strange results and baffling refereeing decision those seasons.

Exactly my point. The wank four including Spurs and Mardarse.
