Referees' Performances | 2025/26

Football authorities treating football fans with utter contempt now by showing fucking cartoons to suite their agenda.
60,000 fans in a stadium that have paid hard earned cash to be shown a 'mistake cartoon'.
Get to fuck and while you're at it give us our sport back you corrupt American arse licking cnuts.
He was onside and all you wanted to do was try and spoil Pep's day.
Even the social media rumblings of Arsenal being chosen to win the Prem this year doesn't stop these pricks, they can't hide their agendas.
I might as well lump on the rags for the title next season, because that is coming next in this manufactured sport that we once knew as football.

I'm pretty sure Foden was offside, but...
WTF Was that supposed offside cartoon that VAR flashed up for a couple of seconds that clearly showed Foden onside.
That would have caused a riot if there was anything riding on the game.
The cartoons are useless anyway because they presuppose that the operator got it right as to when the passer touched the ball. It doesn't.

After the players saw the "offside" image, their reaction coupled with the astonishment and booing of the City fans, PIGMOL shat their pants and came out said the "wrong" image was put up.

This begs the question as to how many images there are...and why?
How many times has the "wrong" image been put up but not corrected?
Was the "wrong" image used at Newcastle? Was the 5mm rule, which no-one was aware of at the time, a smokescreen to cover for another "wrong" image?

PIGMOL delivering one last kick in the balls to City and flicking a 2-fingered salute to Pep, as their parting gift.

Cunts.

The cartoon at Newcastle of Dias jumping when he wasn't is all you need to know about these 'kop out cartoons'
Football used to be for the working class, now it's like it's been privatised for the rich to become richer

When Watkins goal was reviewed a City player foot was highlighted - given onside. For our goal Villa player foot was highlighted - given offside.

Clear and obvious or the phrase that’s used, absolutely shocking the var decisions that have occurred in the last month or not even reviewed.

I'm going to assume he was offside and this whole they showed wrong still claim is genuine, with that assumed this just proves that the officials are grossly incompetent. You cannot get something so basic so wrong and expect anybody to have any confidence in their ability. You pick any other job you want, find an equivalent level of incompetence and find somebody that doesn't lose their job because of it. They simply cannot do what is required.

Imo Var needs specially trained, var only officials. they need to be separate from the on field refs. It's a different job requiring different skills, they struggle to do one, giving them two roles isn't a good idea the refs strictly ref and var never step foot on the pitch. keeping the two separate then reduces their natural desire to back up their mates.

In other news Arsenal today completed for the first time ever in the premier league era an entire season without either conceding a penalty or having a player sent off.

Incredible effort.
They still drone on about their unbeaten "Invincibles" season.

I guess 25/26 is their "Untouchables" season.

You could say it’s a good thing to use our bad luck / bad calls up in a game that didn’t really matter as luck / bad calls will even themselves out over the course of a season

But you’d have to be extremely naive to believe that to be true

Has it got to the point where we’d be better off with no offside rule at all ?

It's pretty clear and obvious they are a bunch of cheating cunts.

I went to the Rochdale-Boreham Wood play off final a couple of weeks ago at Wembley. Dale scored a 96th minute equaliser and it was a split second glance at linesman and referee before going mental. It was how it should be. Ironically if you ever happen to see a replay of that goal there's a possibility that there might be a foul on a defender but nobody really complains and there's not a 5 minute delay whilst someone several hundred miles away picks over 10 different angles to check. VAR needs binning. Its bringing nothing positive to the game.
