Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

Can well believe it.
And if we go to war again? You can bet it will be those they currently sneer at and look down on that will be those that join up and bear the brunt of it.

would that be same people who earlier this year were castigated for saying in polls they wouldn't fight? Make your minds up.

"Meanwhile, experts suggest the shift is due to both economic struggles and cultural divides."

The pay rise for doctors was implemented in April as planned. The ballot relates to future years.

The WFA was means tested. Arguably using the wrong criteria which made it a bit of an own goal for the government but it’s not making the poorest poorer because they’re still entitled to it plus they’ve had above inflation pension uplifts.

You need to get over people suggesting Reform voters are racist or thick. If you vote for a party with a racist leader and racist policies that’s what happens.

It may have escaped your notice but this is the politics section of a football forum not fucking Question Time or a televised political debate. There are a couple of dozen regular contributors and maybe a couple of hundred occasional ones. It’s not influencing the results of elections. We don’t need to be politically correct and sensitive to the feelings of people we think are racist or thick in case it reinforces their voting intentions. You can say what you think on here. You need to grow a pair and stop being such a fucking snowflake.
Stop using facts. I'm still waiting for him to tell us how he feels that Farage and Tice's lies in 2016 is costing the country £290,000,000 per day. I suspect I know why he won't acknowledge it is because he actually voted for it. Oh no, he's only "lending" them his X.

Do the reasons matter? They ain't volunteering and thats that - the Armed Forces have struggled to recruit to full strength for as long as I can remember.

Arguably? It's a scandal and won't be forgotten.

The pension increases were wiped out immediately by 26% increases in water rates and heating bills increases plus council tax increases. All the pension increase gone in seconds.

Pensioners in this country are treated quite poorly unless you're loaded.

when shown her idea in the mirror its clear is was mindless drivel with nothing behind it as a proper thought through policy

Of course the reasons matter.

I would imagine conscription would kick in and it would go for that group straightaway.

How would that happen? As is often pointed out on here the young don't register to vote lost of them have no driving licenses or passports ( anyone turning 18 in late 2019 wouldn't have seen the need for a passport due to Covid, many of them don't drive ) they can just not answer the letters - who comes and gets them. Our tiny Army will be busy and we have too few in the Police. The means of conscription would take months and months to arrange then you have to deal with exemption applications - you can't strip apprentices away from vital production work at a time of war - it would also hollow out parts of the NHS. Are you aware of how many service personnel work in our hospitals. Around here loads of them are learning on the job with placements at the Friarage and James Cook UTH. Again you can't say a word like Jenkyns "tents" and not think it through. "Conscription" is just a word but comes with loads of things that make it happen

From the UK Parliament website and published in March 2025;
The government is currently preparing a new national security strategy and a new strategic defence review which are likely to discuss ways to improve national resilience. These are expected to be published by the end of spring 2025.

The purpose of this briefing is to look at historical national service and conscription in the context of current discussions about the defence of the UK. It does not discuss civilian forms of national service or conscientious objection."

Whilst I agree with some of what you say (and let's face it, nobody wants another war), it's clear that this Government are currently reviewing matters. The last sentence points out that civilian national service etc is not being discussed yet, but let's not kid ourselves that if things in Europe escalated and looked even more dangerous that they wouldn't consider it.

It was poorly implemented but it's not a scandal. It is clearly emotive, but when someone phones a radio station to complain she's losing her £300 and then it becomes clear it's only £200 she's getting says volumes about the bluster that was around at the time. My parent-in law were affected as they are only just above the threshold. We did a review of what they were getting and it became clear they may be entitled to a different benefit. Long and short, they lost £200 WFA but are now £108 per week better off-and they can't be the only ones.

State pensions, and any income for that matter, is there for people to be able to live. The fact that any increase is then used to pay for day to day living is exactly what an income is for. As far as the state pension is concerned, if bills rise as you indicate, then that will all contribute to inflation and with the triple lock, and will be liable for an increase in the future.

I will reiterate though that the WFA changes were done in a clumsy way and ideally a year's notice should have been given.

You serious.... really serious?

Have a look at the number of "X" quotes from your ally on here... and you, you're all over it. Still that doesn't count does it?

The WFA was taken away from a group of people who are much less likely to realise they're entitled to it and probably even less likely to be easily able to reclaim what had been taken from them using the "wrong criteria".

Are you serious that the above inflation pension uplift will begin to cover all the increases pensioners will face... won't get anywhere near it .... and I think in all honesty if you were honest you could do nothing other than admit the poor are much poorer. Just imagine a Tory Government had implemented these policies... what would you say to that?

Yes I’m serious. Standard pension is up £470. Council tax and water are up about £210 on average. The poorest still get WFA.

Who’s my ally? No idea what you’re on about regarding X quotes.

I think he means me - they always hate proof - stops them from continuing to parrot the lies

Best to stick to reading bulldog then
Read whatever you like. Just apply a little critical thinking when doing so.

Have you tried putting a st George flag up and been told to take it down?
Has your child/grandchildren had a nativity cancelled?

Having checked with the search engine I’ve only responded to a handful of your posts in the last year and none that have included X posts related to UK politics. He just makes stuff up, a bit like his new mate.

Yup....

Proof? Proof of what? Proof of an opinion? Half the rubbish you quote are the same news stories but from a different perspective and moreover just other people opinions that serve your narrative..... but the stories of incompetence and Labour lies are still there to be denied.... so paste and quote away to your hearts content.

Like Diddy Dave says

I'm not sure if this was hostile fire or friendly fire? I'm erring on friendly fire as I tend not to call people thick racist cunts in nearly every post I send.... Then again maybe not as that doesn't sound like the kind of rhetoric that would be acceptable on QT.
