He's the 4th Reform Durham county councillor to resign since the election. That's a cost of over £100k to the tax payer.
One of them, John Bailey, once lived in our street. He moved out to go to an assisted living home. He had dementia. However, he soon moved back to the area as apparently he was unable to provide medical evidence of his dementia. He resigned 2 days after the election.
A girl who works at Durham CC thinks that at least 20% of the elected Reform UK councillors have yet to attend a single meeting

yep - by 57.5% - I live near these Neanderthals and I know you cannot reason with them - in fact today I was at my GP surgery which is being extended and there were two people "of a certain age" discussing what was going on. I explained that if they looked on the door of the surgery there was a poster explaining that due to the increased population in the town ( at least 6 new developments in the last 6 years and a new one underway ) they are expanding the practise and they want to employ 2 new GP's to take up the workload.

Their response ? "More bloody foreigners" .................. you seriously cannot help people who object to being called stupid but are happy to show they are.

I understand that they may have an issue, but many seem to have an issue that doesn’t affect them. I’ve mentioned about my older mate, a very respected person, who’s younger wife is now a Reform activist because, checks notes, she don’t want these sort of people in their village, and glad to have none at the moment.

He’s 20 years older than me, born during the war, and given his wife a wonderful life, travelling around the world. Now, she has taken up a position as a Reform activist, even he can’t explain it. Well, he can, but he doesn’t want to hate her in the process.

The Media would love nothing more than a Reform government, think of all the outcry and extra reporting they can do with them in charge, they don't want a pragmatic Government trying to do its best for the country.

I wonder what those who complained about the Winter Fuel Allowance, and the thought of the triple lock will say?
Equally as appalled at these comments I expect?

Personally, I agree with him. I think there does need to be some form of reform, and it should be means tested, as should the WFA.

Maybe he's actually starting to get cold feet and the thought of actually gaining some sort of real power is scaring him shitless. Making money as a protester is a much easier way of earning a living I would have thought.
