Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I like a good flag raising, and bought quite a few for certain charities, but for 75 grand, that’s an absolute piss-take.

Can only assume that somebody has shares, or a partner, in the flag making company.

Not impartial to it either in the right setting. Spending that much council money when they’re already struggling is fucking obscene.

Taxes haven’t increased and the Labour government has cut interest rates?

You truly are the gift that keeps on giving Victor.
He's partly right though. Personal taxes have not changed under Labour-yet, although some taxes on business have changed. It's important that this differentiation is recognised when taxes are discussed.

No government can be accused of raising rates, or claim credit for reducing them as those decisions are made by the BoE.

However, governments are partly responsible for creating the economic conditions for how the BoE reacts. The facts are that rates are down under Labour management of the economy. Clearly world events also have an impact as we saw from 2009-2022 when rates were artificially low under the Tories. What we have now are rates still slightly below the long term average.

I fucking hate it when people drone on about this - such a dullard thing to get offended about, proper snowflake stuff. Why do they think corporations push for advertising to be diverse and inclusive? Out of the goodness of their heart? When has an international conglomerate ever done anything simply because it was beneficial for society?

No, it's because it's been proven time and time again that it's good for sales and brand perception:

It's really that fucking simple. You see somebody who looks like you buying a product, it makes you want to buy that product, so what's the logical conclusion? Show as many different types of people buying the product as you possibly can. It's marketing 101.

I thought Reform were all about free markets and businesses being able to do what they want? Once again the mask slips and it turns out they just want to ban everything they don't like.

Thing is, it's not that simple for most reform voters; that's the tragedy.

I can't imagine the mindset needed to get worked up about black people being on adverts.

Neither can I - but then again, I live with a black person, so if my blood pressure went up every time I saw one I'd probably be dead by now.

A little late but some self reflection is always good.

Nationalist are realizing that there are a LOT of Putin lapdogs inside them and they are starting to purge it. Don't be surprised if Le Pen thinks the same. The issue?

What happens if is too late and Putin's lapdogs starts to move and destroy the image of the nationalists? Also those lapdogs would start to feed the separatists like Reform/ Farage!

Probably already happening..

Is it me or did their candidate look like that meme of JD Vance?

Debating the big issues that will help the country grow, the economy, the NHS, law and order. No, how many people of colour are on the TV. It’s depressing they now have the ear of parts of the electorate with their racist rhetoric.

She's just racist through and through.

These comments have just been compared to what Jenryck said a couple of weeks ago. Philp tried to differentiate the comments but failed miserably.

I don't usually watch adverts but just did for a few minutes. I would say about 1 in 10 faces on them were non-white, about half of the percentage of population in general. There were even a couple of gingers on there. ;-)

If you’re paying attention to adverts to be offended by seeing someone of a different skin colour in them and getting angry about it, as a species we are evolving backwards. If you go and have a look at some of the comment sections on some of the socials about this it makes some amusing reading for a Sunday morning. There’s some fucked up people out there.
