The hard right eats itself constantly. Has done for 50 years. There’s a fable about a scorpion crossing a river and it’s applicable to them. They are at heart hate filled and they constantly turn on each other and that’s why they never fully unite and every time they try-NF, BNP, Britain First etc - they turn inwards and destroy themselves. Where’s Nick Griffin now?

He's nowhere. There's a certain irony that without the different ethnicities that inspire so much fear in them, the likes of Farage, Robinson and Anderson would be non-entities. Where would Tommy Thumb be if he wasn't launching hateful crusades against the Muslims and other ethnic minorities? They're literally the only reason he can sun himself in five-star resorts.

Years ago I went down a Nick Griffin/BNP rabbit hole on the web, reading his letters to right wing papers, meeting minutes etc. The leaders just kept slagging each other off, accusing each other of stealing, grassing, noncing, whatever, then they’d spilt, set up arrival group and it just goes on and on and on. I’ve read a few books on it too.

They are ultimately just people who demand the right to fight and hate. 95% are just plain thick, without the brain capacity to feel empathy. A small percentage, like Griffin, Robinson, Farage, Hopkins are downright evil and feel scorn for people who want to do good.

The hard right is always beaten on the streets. What is more difficult now is they are becoming embedded within the media and establishment
