Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I was going to type out a large response as to why Nigel Farage and Reform are a bunch of cretins and beneath contempt, but I've opted not to engage with the brainwashed, from what I've seen from this thread, any discourse just leads to goalpost moving and whataboutery, so I'm not going to waste my time.

My compassion for the people who are duped into believing his schtick is because many are poor and have been drip fed a bunch of racist and self harming lies since the mid 00s. That is to say it only extends so far. I've seen Reform voters laughing at children drowning in the channel, and being generally racist. this is deplorable.
Spot on.

thats what you do - challenge the lying cunts to their faces

‘He stated’ to ‘We believe he stated’ is how these people work.

For example, ‘due to my underlying belief, Farage stated that he was a racist grifter, intent on bringing the country down and selling anything of worth off to his rich buddies, overseas’.

To be fair, that’s probably close to my beliefs on Farage, but it is far away from the facts that we know.

You’re right, Cameron was ensconced in his Westminster bubble and didn’t read the country’s feelings towards the austerity measures he implemented. However I disagree that the majority of the UK does not want to be part of EU, instead not under the same terms. The referendum should have been whether the UK should have renegotiated its membership whilst still being part of the European project.

Renogiate how? You kind of need two defining options on a referendum.

You're more concerned with people who aren't in power than those that are. Are you happy with Starmer's first 9 months in power?, because I'm not and the majority in the country certainly aren't. Silence in here regarding the shit show that is Starmer and his government but the bogeyman is Farage!

It's a classic deflection policy, if your guy isn't doing what you said they would be doing then deflect onto someone else by saying they would be
much shitter even if they won't get control anyhow.

Why is it a deflection policy to point out that a big part of today's situation is down to Brexit? We're on a Reform thread. Many may be disappointed with Labour, but if you ask the electorate why, the vast majority will cite WFA and probably little else. Whilst important to many, the direction of a government should'nt be deflected by a group of people "losing" £200-£300 whilst at the same time gaining a pension uplift of over £400. It was done in a clumsy way and hopefully there will not be any kind of repeat in the next 4 years. Any time that posters come on here and blame Labour for making them worse off, when challenged there has not been a single one who has been able to justify their claim.

The fact remains that the UK is significantly worse off because of the lies told by Farage and his grifters. They make promises that are completely unachievable but somehow people still don't seem to be getting it.

I never mentioned Brexit I'm not obsessed about the subject I simply said some long term Labour voters are deflecting from their own party with the often quoted

Yeah but they're not as bad as...........

Reform won't be running this country so i personally would be more concerned about how the current govt is performing

You may not have mentioned B, but you chose to get involved where there was direct reference to it. Sorry if it's off your agenda or the loss of £100bn per year to the economy is uncomfortable and should be ignored. Unfortunately it would appear many think Farage is the Messiah and will cure us of all of our ills.

Why won’t Reform be running the country one day? The Americans voted for Reform on steroids with Trump. What makes you think our electorate are sensible enough not to vote in Farage and his band of incompetent liars?

Hopefully it will become clear over the next couple of years to more people that their record in local government makes them unfit to run the country.

As for worrying about how the current government is performing, you’re on the wrong thread.

snaps pretty quickly at the simplest thing doesn't he? Can't see him wanting another 4 years of being asked to answer actual questions

I've mentioned loads of times that the daily drudgery on here about the economy in relation to Brexit is of no interest to me so I'm certainly not uncomfortable about it. Getting wound up by financial guesstimates is really not worth it.

I will let go the comment about Farage the messiah as jesting hyperbole.

I would however worry that such an obvious grifter blah blah..... is worrying Starmer so early in his tenure.

I have a feeling that once someone gets the actual job of running this country and the enormity of it sinks in they must deep down know its very unlikely to end well.

We ain't America fella, we don't have their electoral system nor their history, you may as well compare us to a corrupt African country, middle England wins elections here.

Sometimes threads crossover here on Bluemoon, you will get the hang of it newbie:-).
