Farage is realising what all far right parties realise when they become popular, there's a threshold to their popularity, beyond that threshold they're detested, and those that detest them are greater in number and willing to act collectively to keep them out.

You're seeing that in the Netherlands and we got a glimpse of it in Wales.

What he doesn't realise is that labour have 3 1/2 years to put something in place to sort the immigration issue out and if they do, reform supporters drops to virtually zero.
Also, the biggest winners in that scenario would probably be the Conservatives because they are on the brink of outright collapse as it stands but if reform supporters dies, they'll get a lot more seats than they currently have.
To this end, I could actually see them working together behind the scenes with labour to come up with a plan.

From a local football perspective in this scenario, labour are city, Conservatives are the rags and reform are Manchester central.
