v Leicester, it didnt prevent a goalscoring opportunity cos the keeper was coming out to coverso no guarantee that Tevez would have scored. Wot annoys me is the inconsistency by the same ref in the same game - like Webb against Villa...and Twattenburg against Arse at home and the same idiot for Yoonited v Spuds at The Swamp...

Of course it prevented a goalscoring opportunity, Tevez was clean through on goal, you dont get a much better opportunity to score.

Failed to give West Brom a clear penalty, instead awarded free kick on the edge of the penalty area.

The officials in the Prem are piss poor.

Problem is,the game has moved on quite a lot in the last 15-20 years and refereeing hasnt moved with it.Officials are simply not up to the job.

I think Halsey had the mindset that we'd score the penalty and cruise to victory. When Leicester put up resistance I think he might have second guessed his decision. I don't think Halsey is one of the bent ones but he did make some very questionable calls.
