Games in hand are okay if your improving and gives you a chance to get points on the board. But we are not improving at all - 15 defeats and 2 draws in 19 games is relegation material. The players don't seem arsed by it and there is no leader amongst them. Defeat to Newcastle in the next game and can see that being the final straw.I think the 3 games that Everton have in hand will have much more bearing on whether they are relegated or not to be honest.

I have nothing personally against them as clubs but I think the league would be better without Burnley, Watford and Norwich. The first two especially are painful to watch.
I don’t think it’ll make much difference when they’re going to be replaced by the likes of Fulham and Huddersfield
Everton should be fine they have 3 games in hand of most at the bottom plus there are worse teams than them.
It's more the ineptitude of the sides around them that will save them but if a couple start to put a run together they could be in trouble.

Newcastle next up and still to play dippers, rags, Chelsea, Arsenal. West Ham, Palace. Not easy

Everton look like they could be in the crap as the fixtures they have coming up are pretty tough. Serial survivors Burnley have the experience of escaping and could easily leapfrog them.

They have to win those home games against Newcastle and Brentford, as they may not get a point in any of those other games. And winning those two games only gets them to 28 points. They'd probably need another 4 or 5 points minimum from somewhere.

Yes tough games but if the others keep losing it won't matter. Watford and Leeds winning will have their bumholes twitching tonight.

Hope is for Burnley to go down, but it’s looking like Everton are in free fall…on the field and behind the scenes.
Any of the “on the bubble” teams that can put a few wins together (and someone always does!) is going to save themselves, because none of them are lighting up the League!
There are always a few end of season 6 pointers that help separate the wheat from the chaff, too!
