Relegation Fight - 2021/22 | Norwich, Watford & Burnley relegated

If Burnley get a point then Leeds are down I just cannot see them getting anything at Brentford .......... Brentford ain’t playing like a team in the beach ....... think the Villa v Burnley will be crucial now what does Slippy G do ????? Put out a weakened team out on Thursday so he can try and get a result next Sunday for his beloved Liverpool ........ or does he go all out on Thursday ?????

I think no we all know the answer to that dilemma.

I wouldn't say old City after Madrid and today.
Today is fucking bizarre.

In reality it's a good result but I can't make head nor tail of it.

Hopefully come Tuesday it will be a fucking great result.

Ahh fuck Sutton is still at it, wtf is that bloke on. Asthma inhalers I reckon.

Thought he was born and bred Norfolk, why's he up the Dippers arse!!!

It's a worry we seem prone to panicking under pressure when we used to be calm. I know we have defenders out but the players there have enough big game experience to play better than that at the back.

Apart from it being 'football' there shouldn't be any way on Earth that we go two down to the Hammers. Last season we conceded more often than not when some journeyman pro scored the goal of his career. This season we seem to have let in one shitty goal after another. Have we had a PL game where the defence performed in a similar way to the Atletico second leg? Mind, I don't suppose there are many teams we have needed to defend against for the life of us. It's just that when a goal goes in my reaction seems to be similar to an unprovoked smack across the kisser with a long-dead mackerel.

tbh I think the neither of the fullbacks help the situation for the central defenders, together with the fact that neither Fernandinho or Laporte are fit.

I think we should have offered them more protection by playing less expansively initially and used the opportunity to go push forward once we were more in control.

The injuries we have suffered have come at a difficult time, and we have done really well to be where we are now imo.

Pep doesn't seem to trust the younger squad members , which may be because he doesn't want their confidence to be damaged if things go wrong.

Spot on.

I think Burnley will survive as Everton and Leeds both have useless managers. Leeds been unlucky with injuries but that particular problem was solved by sacking Bielsa rather than spending in January. I have a lot of respect for Frank but he doesn't seem to have what it takes as a manager.
