Yes and no. Scratch the surface or spend some time on the darker recesses of social media I don’t think as a species we’re as civilised as we like to think we are. I’m not necessarily linking that to the withering away of organised religion but for a so called sophisticated society we sure could do with some moral guidance sometimesfake belief system to keep society in order. Probably true back in the day. But not now - most of the country aren’t arsed about religion and everything still ticks along as normal.

I completely disagree with that.You claimed societies without religion don't last long, and tied it to the monoleistic fiaths you were incorrect, as societies flourished long before them.
