Religion

it's no surprise that as the world becomes more educated - atheism grows

there will always be thick and scared people that need disillusional irrational beliefs to make themselves feel better, so religion will stick around.
See, i reckon without heart, there will be the growth of a world populated by people that feel the need to write as you do, so as to think themselves superior, so as to cover up feelings of inferiority. Fortunately, there are plenty that would choose a way of life other than yours.

Are you saying @BlueHammer85 hasn’t got a heart?
Many who berate his music threads might agree, but stating people who see things in a more atheistical way haven’t heart, and this explains his perceived negativity, doesn’t stack up either Master Po.
As Stephen Fry said in that interview earlier. Some people find the dissipation of any God from their lives as a very positive life experience.

Atheists/agnostics definitely do have heart but those who have faith aren’t necessarily scared or thick, many of the greatest minds ever were theists.

Pretty poor conversation all around.

I would say that you can be atheist and have heart, and that you can call yourself religious/spiritual and not have heart. And vice versa.I’d imagine a fair few might experience life as a mixture of the above. But if the world he envisions is a reflection of what he wrote, then I’d say ‘no, thanks’ whether that world is atheist, religious, spiritual, agnostic or whatever

but how many in todays world ?
vast majority of top scientists are atheists because they are more educated than years before and education makes them better to be able to sort fact from fantasy.
Scientists have a advantage that leads them to becoming atheists, because they know the real truth about our origins and the origins of the universe. Knowing this, they find very little substance in the supernatural claims of theism.
