Remember these T shirts?

I was wearing the Rosler t shirt on a bus in San Francisco many years back.
An old boy was staring at me for a while before coming over and telling me that it was a Lancaster bomber and why did it have German markings. I tried to explain that historical inaccuracies probably weren’t the highest priority of the people who had produced them.
I gave him a bit of background about the rivalry and the history but I think it was all a bit wasted on him.
Turned out he was USAF and served in Wellingtons and Lancasters as well as the American bombers too. We had a good chat, I even stopped on the bus for a few more stops.

My mate Colin Lund produced all the T-shirts and ran the Soccer 2 shop on the corner of Claremont Road (Blue Moon chippy backed on to it)

He also held the licence for all the stalls down Sir Matt Busby Way at Old Trafford.

Made a lot of money.

Used to travel to away games with him and his young lad Darren, even went to Florida with them to see City in 1991, although the Alan Hudson tournament got cancelled.

Colin also brought out a line of City Shell suits which I wore to the FA Youth Cup Final at Watford's Vicarage Lane, must be late 80s?
He was a bouncer at The Venue on Whitworth St too

The Rosler shirt I had for years as the date given is 21st Feb 1941 for bombing OT - which is my birthday (not 1941 but 21st Feb!)
Although there is another version of the shirt that has the date as 10th March 1941.
Seeing as it is approaching the 80th anniversary of Uwe's Grandad flying over, i asked @Gary James to confirm which date was correct (or maybe it was bombed both dates). Gary confirmed it was 10th March.

I too had the Rosler t shirt. It fell apart after a few years and I tore it up for rags to polish shoes. (I’m posh like that).
I don’t remember the Swales T-shirt at all.
