Remember this?

Fantastic football. Everything felt gelled. About two months after this the understanding diminished. The players can still control the ball but it is often without dynamism, forward-looking dismantlement. Against Tottenham, every pass was part of a goal construction even if the resulting chance was unconverted. Lately, there are a lot of passes, but they are too seldom creative, forward - too often they're slow, mere distribution.

Decent assessment.

very sadly missed play. the good games with confident football will return with a vengeance... (i hope.)

Dzeko's 4 brilliant strikes or goals epitomizes what a top WC striker should be about!

To continually slag him (for not being one or an invaluable City player) I suggest is a witchhunt or a smokescreen to sidetrack the members of this forum from focussing on the limitations or mediocre abilities of one or two City players to be in the starting lineup. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Ask yourself who are Dzeko's detractors and then which City player/s do they support or PR for?

Just like Balotelli's witchhunt (Redknapp and Redknapp et al) was a smokescreen for 'Arry's charge in court & the alleged Stoke-WBA match fixing.

For fucks sake with the Dzeko. Go make a Dzeko thread man.

Soon enough, this one will be hijacked, ruined, and talking about Zebras.

Wow, i thought at the time it was good football. But i honestly didn't remember it being that good. Some of that was the best stuff i have ever seen.

We don't get that sort of space now to play that kind off football. Its 10 men behind the ball working hard to press us. much like Liverpool did on Wednesday. It all about being patient now and working opening with lost of movement and ball retention.

Remember this? A reprise of this is in order I believe

City vs Norwich Match (5-1). With Norwich parking their Sherman tank. Any comment?

We haven't played with that kind of tempo and energy for a while now.

Maybe it's fatigue or maybe teams have learnt how to combat our fluency.

it is because the weather is cold, everyone knows that the foreigners in our team hate the cold!!!
