Remembrance Sunday Tribute (Sky Sports)

I know many Blues have seen this but if not I'm posting a link to a Sky Sports feature I've been involved with. I provided the articles, most of the letters, the research etc. for both Manchester clubs in this feature. Sky had to get a balance of course and I am delighted with the way they've produced this. Gary, it was really well done. A fitting tribute to the soldiers of Manchester who we all owe so much.

A good tribute and interesting too. My grandad was in the Manchester regiment in WW1. He survived. Have a lovely letter from him to his dad when he was wounded so this feature moved me.

I was glad that players from both clubs were named and remembered but very disappointed that once again we did not mark the day with silence - the playing of the Last Post is not the silence - it marks the beginning of the silence. There is a very simple straight forward ceremony that is honoured in communities all over the country - that doesn't need fancy videos and inappropriate banners that reduces the wreath to the margins. It was the same last year and is not good enough
