Strange wasn't it. Can only think it was because it was a Derby. Only takes a couple of people to be shouting coming in late, others tell them to shut up and the whole thing escalates, seen it happen more than once.
It was the same last year - it is the way it is planned - and if they want to keep a silence after the Last Post then the crowd need to be told as there are too many there that won't otherwise be at a Remembrance Day event and know the correct format. It has nothing to do with being a derby as was proved with perfect silence for Munich 50 year anniversary
