Even ignoring the price, I still think he's a much better player for what we'd want. He's solid enough but there's no comparison between Lodi and Guerreiro on the ball.

In terms of quality, international experience, CL experience, age, top club experience, there aren't much better options than Lodi.

Theo Hernandez would be my #1 choice for LB but it doesn't look like he's anywhere close to leaving Milan.

More aggressive defensively than anyone else we've been linked with but the least impressive going forward.

Not sure he fits us.

Pep will sort him out when it comes to going forward. If he has any football intelligence then he'll easily learn. Madrid don't exactly encourage it but it doesn't mean he can't do it.

Defend how though. If defending means tackling then we don't really defend that way. If defend means intercepting and keeping possesion then the player best at that is the defender we will want. A defender that can pass and is intelligent. I don't know enough about either player to know which one suits our team best.
