Did he? The chelsea wingbacks were far more impressive overall.

I think if we're gonna buy fullbacks or really any position, we need obvious high quality players, otherwise, might as well give youth (like Bernabe) these back-up spots.

I beg, seriously, this is a really good player.

Only question is if he really fits our needs. I think, with all the steel and physical presence we've added, he'd be fine on that score. The one thing.... is he disciplined enough tactically for Pep? He looks like a marauder, an aggressive attacker, chase you round the pitch player, rather than a sit tight in the inside and play DMF guy. Would it work?

Because otherwise, making the large assumption that a deal could be done, he's a no brainer.
