He's Dutch. Not too disparage all Dutch people, but in my experience they do have a tendency to be opinionated and mouthy.....one of the reasons their national Team rarely lives up to expectations.

"And why can't you buy Quatro anymore? I used to love Quatro.....Oooh and Schh-pangles. They were, how you say, top!" he said as he sat on the kerb throwing stones into a puddle, waiting for a taxi

Un*t*d fans will be pleased to hear that Rene did not puke during this interview and that he WAS able to buy a kebab much later on after a long walk into town, but he was thrown out of the shop for shouting "Arab-schh man, they get everywhere, they even schh-ell kebab-schh now."
 
If you watch this guy on the touchline he's that far up Fergie's arse it's untrue. Reminds me a bit of when Twitcher Jnr tries to gain praise from Gullit and Souness on the CL nights on Sky. In credit to Fergie he just sits there looking slightly embarrassed about the whole debacle as if to say 'ok ok, fuck off now'.
