Repercussions - From the PL, FA, UEFA and within the Club

I’m interested in the power shift within Uefa after this. Which teams had directors involved on uefa boards? They all resigned right? Who takes their place? Will we have anyone there now?

Bayern and PSG took advantage and swooped in. Hope we can get a seat at the table now but wouldn’t hold my breath. There is still the Tebas factor

Nothing from UEFA. The UEFA boss has given City a glowing welcome back.

The PL might be different. But, we'll be the least disliked of the 6. We'll have to rebuild the PL trust.

We got fined for coming out a minute late for the second half in a Champions League game - and you don't think we'll get fined for this ?

Now that we're on the inside track at UEFA, for majorly bringing the game into disrepute?

"rather than taking tough but necessary decisions" This term is why I don't want to be critical of the club for joining the ESL. I trust them to make decisions that might look horrible from outside when you don't have all the facts. It's the same as trusting Pep when he plays Sterling but I think he's awful. I'll trust for a long while but then if it's repeated over and over I'll eventually start criticizing based on assumptions. But not at the start. Otherwise it's just a mess.

(Or in other words, Pepe staring Sterling in a FA-Semi-final is worse than the end of football as we know it!!!)

There should be a transparent internal assessment of who was involved in the decision making process and they should be held accountable for such an unpopular, anti-competitive decision.

There should be a points deduction from the PL/FA for bringing the game into disrepute.

Teams should be banned from Europe for one season.

This issue is this serious. I don't know how "involved" City were, did they think they were signing up to an "idea" or an "actuality"? As we were the last to sign up and the first to drop out, there may well be mitigating factors we are unaware of. I'd love if we came out of this clean, but if it was any other club but my own, I would consider the above processes and punishments a minimum.

Ogs has confirmed that the rags are sorting their punishment "in house"......no food for any of the glazers sons.
