Repercussions - From the PL, FA, UEFA and within the Club

Whenever Perez says "Football" as in "saving Football" what he actually means is "saving Madrid".
The 2 big Spanish teams have been lording it for years on a credit account. Now that account needs paying, what they have decided to do is mortgage the whole of Football to get themselves out of the inevitable shit.
He doesn't care about fans, or Footballs wider community. Just Madrid.
He's a fucking cock!!!
He needs removing from any position of Football authority.

This is what's not really being picked up at all by the useless media. Also the rags huge debt. Let's have the truth out there as to why this really started. Also the apathy in the Spanish league because Madrid and Barcelona win the damned thing almost every year.

Its because City are ruining football and have been doing so for a decade

Listening to 5 live now and i'm boiling.

I hated the ideas of the ESL but the faux outrage coming out is fuckin worse.

Bans, fines, points deductions fuckinell, all of which would benefit the other 14.

Not heard anyone say European bans for the 6 and give the places to a country with teams who weren't involved in the ESL.

Chris Sutton, very vocal but seems to have forgotten his big money move to Blackburn funded by a wealthy benefactor and the new Premier League money.

Football is big business and funds all these wankers in the media, they wouldn't have jobs if footy wasn't front, middle and back page news. Can't have it both ways can they.

Listening to some bile on 606 tonight. Mostly very partisan reasons left unsaid - people want massive fines for us in a vain attempt to bankrupt us and then big points deductions - the amount of points depends on how many their team already have all they want is us, the rags, Chelsea, Spurs, dippers and Arsenal to finish below their club.

Then there is the madness that is convincing themselves we need 50% + 1ownership model. Do any of them think that their owners - as what ever level - will continue to pump money into an enterprise they don't own? Clubs will go under and star players will be sold. Also how many of those fans will club together to buy their fans share? Where is their money coming from? The dippers would be looking to try and raise £0,5 to £0.7bn from the fanbase - there aren't that many cars with hubcaps nowadays ! You could get there but it will take a long long time of gradual evolution.

He is talking rubbish. Criminal that and criminal this, what criminal? Where was he and his fairness for almost two decades, when they were cherry picking anybody from English football who helped them win all those titles. He can go and fuck himself!

don’t agree. Sounds like you don’t like him or anything he says because he played for United....

Put aside your hatred for United, as this issue is bigger then that. talking about the situation right now, he’s 100% right

There's no getting away from the fact that the Real/Barca have bled their own league dry, often with government support and certainly with the support from their own broadcasters, and have somehow found themselves in a position where Atletico are a domestic threat and facing genuine, literal bankruptcy. Say what you want about Arsenal and Spurs, but England has a "big 6", Leicester, West Ham and Everton all look as likely to qualify in the coming seasons to the top 4, and Newcastle are one big takeover from being a force. I think the premier league are as annoyed with the 6 because, from an onfield and off field perspective, at least in the top division, English football looks reasonably healthy. There's a good generation of English players coming through, FFP has taken the edge off some of the stupid money being spent, the last round of broadcast deals were HUGE etc etc.

What's the answer then CHB?

Every fan wants their team to make the big money signings (big wages go with that) but are appalled when money in any context is mentioned in relation to football.

People need to grow up, football is big business so attracts people and businesses from that ilk to generate more money. I'm not thrilled with it but nothing you can do, if you dont like it find another hobby.

Non league clubs go bust because they have over spent! Living within your means does not apply to football clubs at any level.
