Repercussions - From the PL, FA, UEFA and within the Club

I think the whole Premier League should have a points deduction.
Norwich and Watford have been promoted after one season which is probably due to the PL cash they received last season plus the parachute payments. Bournemouth, the other team relegated last season are almost certainly in the play-offs and it's clear this is a result of financial doping.
In fact all teams except City should have deductions as we've clearly made good use of the PL cash while the rest have wasted it.

The last people to get involved in football should be the Government (of any political persuasion) Politicians have done virtually nothing to improve football for decades. I trust politicians even less than club owners.
I wouldn't trust our politicians as far as I could throw Cyril Smith. Their attempts at ending Sky's monopoly didn't bring lower prices. Their solution merely resulted in everyone paying twice as much (unless they were BT broadband customers) as they were paying Sky in the first place.

There’s a whole load of sanctimonious bollocks flying around this. And ‘this’ is football. The ESL might be the last straw for many, if that’s you then I sympathise but please, if ‘football’ is not for you any more then just go and watch rugby or something and leave the rest of us in our cognitively dissonant bubble.

Listening to some bile on 606 tonight. Mostly very partisan reasons left unsaid - people want massive fines for us in a vain attempt to bankrupt us and then big points deductions - the amount of points depends on how many their team already have all they want is us, the rags, Chelsea, Spurs, dippers and Arsenal to finish below their club.

Then there is the madness that is convincing themselves we need 50% + 1ownership model. Do any of them think that their owners - as what ever level - will continue to pump money into an enterprise they don't own? Clubs will go under and star players will be sold. Also how many of those fans will club together to buy their fans share? Where is their money coming from? The dippers would be looking to try and raise £0,5 to £0.7bn from the fanbase - there aren't that many cars with hubcaps nowadays ! You could get there but it will take a long long time of gradual evolution.

Easiest thing to do is turn your radio off , tune into another station or do something else that gives you enjoyment .
Not bought a newspaper for years now & hardly watch sky sports news.
They are just negative bullshitters most of the time .
When city's games are on sky or bt i never watch the prematch build up, always put the channel on at kickoff & don't watch the halftime chat.
More entertaining on bluemoon ha!ha!

Ruined your bank balance.
Too bloody right. I was fortunate that the £30 cap on away PL games came in when it did.
Used to be three or four cup games a season but now we play loads. Have to say I've had some good away games in the UEFA Cup and CL, but do they really compare to a 5-30 ko at Colchester or an equally silly ko at Bristol Rovers?
