Would be good to hear fbloke or other business savvy people suggest suitable replacements for Gary. Suggestions seemed to be getting buried in the other thread so made this one, but merge if needs be.

Possibly a media oriented choice to extract as much wealth as we can through this avenue now we are a worldwide name? Obviously the revenue is set for the European and domestic competitions, but could we somehow expand revenue streams through to other continents?

I'm also a no vote for Kenyon, especially if he uses the model from over the road. Different times economically than when the increase of ticket prices occured over there.

I need to make a suggestion though when rejecting a name, and I can't so I must be a pleb :-(

Give me 10 minutes haha!

Why does it have to be a football-related person? Cook wasn't, he was brought in to grow the brand. If we want to market ourselves successfully overseas one of the major keys to growth is the internet. Why not bring in someone like Carol Bartz who recently left her post as CEO of Yahoo? Yes, it's a hefty increase in salary but up until Yahoo, which to be honest nobody is going to save, she has an extremely good record and she has media contacts the world over.

Ok, I've got one but probably not a goer as he only joined his current company 9 months ago.

Ross Hair - Head of operations at ESPN U.K.
