Replacements for Cook?

Interesting read if nothing else on Charlton's chairman:

I think we will appoint two people, one as CEO and another as a technical director who looks after the football side of things.

One of Cook's main failures, imo, was that he wasn't taken seriously when dealing with the big European football clubs, nothing pisses me off more than to see us having the piss taken by the Galliani's of the world.
I see your point, but if that is the case then surely there needs to be a complete reshuffle. Khaldoon, Marwood and Williams plus TWO new guys just seems a little much.

Williams was only given a short term contract and I don't see Marwood surviving.

We need a well respected top man and I can't see that coming from the football world which imo means we will still need someone with serious clout to deal with the big boys - can't see Marwood cutting the mustard at the top table.

We actually have the technical director we require in our midst...Patrick Viera. Him above Marwood any day of the week!

Not a bad shout tbh mate, appointment in the mould of Zidane at Real.

Not sure though whether he will have the necessary skills, as yet, to be able to handle himself with the big boys - maybe he could be groomed for the role by working under someone for a couple of years.

He did a good enough job with Nasri...;- )

But I do take your point.

Kenyon has been head Honcho at MUFC & CFC, so knows his way around the corridors of power at both the FA & UEFA..

He is exactly what we need now... somebody who will stand up for MCFC, will not be walked over and can deal effectively with the press.
and of course he says he has always been a City supporter.....

Got to be in the running, alongside Vicky Kloss (though I think she is weak with the press). Anybody think they will 'poach' from another club?

I once got an email from Vicky Kloss in reply to an email I'd sent her.

The email I got wasn't meant for me, but should have been forwarded to a colleague of hers, but she hit "reply" instead!!
