Replacing Hughes Now

I do not know the truth of some of the claims made about Hughes, but am I beginning to see a smear campaign against him, or just being paranoid, posters with little history making all kinds of claims about his management ability or lack of, and not just on this forum, something very fishy indeed (IMO)

if you support a team without lots of money. we've got fucking shit loads of the stuff so get the right man at whatever the cost coz thinking long term...we're heading into a relegation dog fight with that clueless muppet.

Can we get the right man whatever the cost right now though? The right man for me is Mourinho, but he wouldn't come right now. I saw an interview with him yesterday on SSN and he was creaming his pants at the thought of coming back to the prem. He won't go to Chelsea cos of roman, the rags have bacon face, liverpool don't look like sacking Rafa, ditto Arsenal with Wenger. We are the likeliest option IMO.

I think we could swipe Mourinho at the end of the season

well that's the dilemma and the awful sticking point with this. coz i agree with you. Mourinho all the way for me- why settle for less when you have the money. but you're right..could we get him now?? it's just not the best time is it. if only it was the end of the season. for many reasons- mainly just to put us out of our unending misery!!

some posters have said that it would be suicide to replace hughes now. but surely now is the best time to do it? 5 or 6 games to go until jan, if we continue this form, we really will be in the shit. sacking hughes now will give the players the confidence they need, look at sunderland, last week their player played with confidence as soon as keane was sacked. spuds have been on an amazing run since they got rid of ramos, even newcastle imporved drastically when they appointed somebody who the players believed in. bring in somebody who can bring confidence to the squad and get them playing decent football

we need change, and we need it now

And it's generally always a short term solution. Why not just have confidence that we have got the right man and show backing for the manager. I mean Ramos was sh*te that's why Real Madrid have just appointed him and he won the Coca Cola in his first year at Spurs.

So Ricky Sbragia at Sunderland is the solution for our new manager then based on the wonderful job he's done at Sunderland.

Have you ever thought that its just a change of mindset from the players and fans and that we are culpable in creating this negativity around the club. It's a vicious cycle and one we desperately need to break.

The fact is that all managers can bs sh*t from time to time. Do we really want to be like Real Madrid and have a new manager have every season?

Hughes did a good job at Blackburn and there is no reason why he can't do a great job at City given the extra resources available.

just been to the cafe and rag behind the counter said the only manager
they want is the chosen one so lets get him before they do .lets face it mh isnt in he league

I dont give a shit what some 90 year old codger said about hughes, out of all the great managers we have had inthe last thirty years...which ones won something?

Hughes has won more in his first club job than all of our managers combined have won at city sinse I have supported them!!!!!

well let's put it this way. i'm not a paranoid poster with little histroy . i'm a fairly intelligent 40 year old who doesn't go for over drama. my friend is defiantely not over dramatic. he's a very quietly spoken, concise and highly educated individual who worked at City in a very senior capacity for 30 years and not one for gossip etc.

so i'm just passing on a conversation he had. and judging by the current crop of shite performances i think the only claim that can be made about his management ability is that he has very little of it.

Jose mourinhose Jose mourinho Jose mourinho Jose mourinho Jose mourinho IT JUST LOOKS BETTER THAN MARK HUGHES
