Report that Sunderland agree fee for Dunne

sad to see dunnie go, felt sorry for him the last week, imagine how he's felt with all this terry stuff in the press, i'd love him to stay and be around the 1st team he'd never let us down when called upon, but at his age he needs 1st team football, so IF he goes, he goes with my blessing and i wish him every success in his future . . . . cheers dunnie

Spurs manager Harry "the twitcher" Redknapp expressed his regret that Sunderland have moved the goal posts, i have always admired Dunne but Sunderland have blew me out of the water with that audatious £2million bid, City have stitched me up again, they are bastards i tell you, bastards and they are ruining football.

Harry Redknapp doesnt talk about players contracted to another team.Sure Ritchie is a great player,he tried to buy him 5 times already, and would like to see him play with Woodgate as they'd be great together.Dunney should come over to Harry's house for tea and chit chat, but unfortunately Dunne is under contract and harry wont comment. ;-)

The fee may be low ie 2 million as a thank you to Dunne for his service over the years and with luck will let him get a nicer signing on fee

I think £2m would be a bit cheap, but hey we don't exactly need the cash.

So that would make it ok?

I wouldn't have thought it's true, without having the numbers yet.

Not saying it makes it ok, far from it. Dunne has been a good servant for the club and when we have been mediocre, he was a shining light.
I just feel his best days are behind him and if we can get hold of the defenders we are rumoured to be signing, there wouldn't really be a need to keep hold of him.
I can't see him wanting to be a bench warmer at his age and being an international means he should really be playing regularly.
Get what we can for him and wish him well wherever he ends up.

Yea i agree but with the fortunes we have im sure we could buy an even better replacement.

Dunnie is one the main reasons we are still in the Prem. However all good things come to an end. I'd be very surprised if he was still here come September
