Personally I'd ignore people who only believe what they see on Twitter, Facebook and obscure websites and won't believe anything they see on mainstream media.

Whilst I accept the thrust of what you're saying, it's difficult escaping from the notion that the mainstream media have brought that mindset largely upon themselves.

Somewhere inbetween lies the truth in my opinion, a bit of this and a bit of that and not swallowing all the garbage the Mail the Guardian or the BBC try to feed us.

I'd imagine that statement would be the vast majority of people. Well, if they're being honest. Go on most off topic threads on here (Trump, General Election, any thread on Israel etc), and you'll see it.
