Reports of an explosion at Parsons Green underground station

I'd imagine that statement would be the vast majority of people. Well, if they're being honest. Go on most off topic threads on here (Trump, General Election, any thread on Israel etc), and you'll see it.

You're right mate I honestly think too many people just believe what they see in the MSM without even (Hilary Clintons favourite term) fact checking. This place and time reminds me of Arnies running man film where anything on screen is gospel until alternative news kicks in.

Some people are sceptical. They won't willingly swallow any old shit. I think they call it the 'confirmation bias' probably with echo chamberesque subtleties. You have to create your picture out what is fed to you though, for good or bad.

Whilst I accept the thrust of what you're saying, it's difficult escaping from the notion that the mainstream media have brought that mindset largely upon themselves.
Frequently biased and inaccurate MSM reporting certainly doesn't help but the main reason is the proliferation of social media and a certain mindset amongst many that they are free thinkers because they don't believe what they see in the MSM. Ironically they'll believe absolutely ridiculous nonsense that they see on Twitter or other social media without questioning it.

It's the wrong thread for a disagreement but you are a fall off the edge believe everything you hear as long as it's to your satisfaction type.
Thanks for judging me again based on absolutely fuck all. As you are one of the most opinionated people on this forum who's opinions are usually based on your own extremely biased outlook on life and are usually contrary to any common sense, I'll take them with a huge pinch of salt.

It's not so much the msm telling blatant lies. It's more the fact that they choose to ignore or suppress certain events.
They can't be accused of a bias if they've chose not to acknowledge nye in cologne or naz shah's comments etc.
When someone does mention an uncomfortable truth, they're usually scoffed at, called names or some other form of stifling the discussion.
