Respect to Brian Kidd

Right, that's it, now is the time for Manuel to go, I cannot take any more. Brian Kidd should take the reins until the summer, he did OK you know for those final couple of games after Mancini. He does care for the club and I'm sure the players would respond to him more than they are at the moment for MP. Yes we have a 2nd leg to come, Norwich away next, but we are now everybody's cup final, just like Utd used to be, and it's clear the tactics, formation, in-game changes are not working. Nor do the players have that "fuck you, you're not beating us" attitude. We have the players and squad depth capable of winning most games so let's just do it already.

A laboured 2-0 win against I think already relegated Reading & a 3-2 home defeat to Norwich....

Saying that, he somehow got Jack Rodwell to have his best game he's had in about 4/5 years so you never know...

Remember America when he needed help..

Manchester City coach Brian Kidd revealed sporting director Txiki Begiristain was the inspiration behind the team’s thrilling 4-3 win over Chelsea in America.

City came from three goals down to clinch victory in the last minute as a team comprising senior and younger players pulled off a remarkable win.

Afterwards, Kidd revealed that it was a chat with Begiristain and new reserve boss Patrick Vieira that influenced his selection.

While I like him, he strikes me as cut out only to be a number two. Arguably he's part of the current malaise, not part of any solution.

We know there will be changes at the end of season and might as well carry on with who we've got in the meantime. Despite the dross being served up all too often, we're still in with a shout of a trophy or two.
