"Everyone in the room hold up your European Cup Winners' medal. Err - right. Just Brian , then."

You must o' bin away an ell of a long time R kid!
Never been a huge fan of Brian's (notably cos of his days as Fergie's #2) ... but just watched his post matched interview and he is genuinely emotional about City, the fans and the players. I thought he might cry at one point.
And watching the highlights, City looked fluid, balanced and dynamic. (i know highlights never tell the whole story and Readings marking was shocking at times) but thats the best i've seen the lads play. Fast, slick passing, superb movement, Silva looks world class without to worry about Nasri playing around him.
Think a lot of credit should go to Kiddo, I have seen him as the shadow in Mancini's Trio over the last 3 years, but have to hold my hands up, beg for forgiveness and show Brian some respect cos he obviously has a great connection with the players and I think that showed in the game last night.
Whoever comes in .... think the wisest move first is to keep Brian as part of the coaching staff. Wouldn't have said that a week ago or a year ago, but now, think it's sensible in a week of chaos.
Hats off to you Brian. Well done!
I have a deep respect for Brian Kidd but his time in charge of Blackburn shows he is not a manager. There is half of the season left. Im not against the idea of a Hiddink type stopgap, but not KiddoRight, that's it, now is the time for Manuel to go, I cannot take any more. Brian Kidd should take the reins until the summer, he did OK you know for those final couple of games after Mancini. He does care for the club and I'm sure the players would respond to him more than they are at the moment for MP. Yes we have a 2nd leg to come, Norwich away next, but we are now everybody's cup final, just like Utd used to be, and it's clear the tactics, formation, in-game changes are not working. Nor do the players have that "fuck you, you're not beating us" attitude. We have the players and squad depth capable of winning most games so let's just do it already.
