How did Balotelli let us down in kiev? he was 10x better than Dzeko in the first half, Dzeko was non existant. I'm guessing you're blaming him for having to go off? Can't blame the guy for having an allergic reaction, Its not his fault.
When ever Dzeko got the ball he lost it, I watched the game in the pub where everyone stood up and gave dzeko a surcastic round of applause when he finally managed to pass the ball... that 1 time.
Dzeko has done nothing worth noting since he arrived. he got a couple of tap ins against crap teams, other than that he disapears, he wanders around the pitch, he cant control the ball, he cant pass, he cant dribble. From what hes shown so far, Dzeko is not good enough for this league he was better suited in germany where the game is slower and less physical.
We're stuck with him for now and I hope he can adapt to the game, I hope he can score 20/30 goals a season but I cant see it. When he plays he looks extremely similar to samaras.

Having seen us 'struggle' a bit of late, I am of the opinion we should revert to type for a few games (5 in mid and Carlos on his own up top), and if that means benching Balo and Dzeko until we get a head of steam going, so be it. This portion of the season is too important to be trying out things that might not work, and we have had some of our best performances this season playing that way.
One of the pluses of the versatile players we have is that Balo and Silva can easily be integrated into this system, Dzeko and Carlos would have to interchange though.

City are so narrow it actually pisses me off.
A team puts 10 mean behind the ball and we are fucked because we still try and pass through the middle and spend the whole game passing round the edge of their box before we get irritated and do something stupid and lose the ball. We have to full backs that can't do a good cross, Richards can't he can only do it on the counter and our build up is too slow to even do that effectively. Even our wingers can't cross, Adam Johnson doesn't do a good cross hes just good at cutting inside and lay offs. Milner would be good but hes massively underperformed.
