Personally (I'll admit it), i think the Liverpool tie is now beyond us, but if we are to have any chance at all, we have to play our best side, beat the rags, win the league, (and only then) think about the second leg
Our BEST chance of going through in the CL is if we have battered the rags this afternoon. The moral boost is worth far more than resting David Silva for 60 minutes for example.
Liverpool team pretty much confirms we’ll see a lot of our players rested as well.
ffs - I hope not - play our strongest team..........and I do not mean Yaya - a legend but too slow now.

I'm with you on this.It's the derby.
I don't care what competition it's in, what games come before/after, what is resting on it. We should go all out to smash them. Playing a weakened team is rubbish.

The difference is we can win the league today whilst Liverpool are only playing for top 4, which is all but secure.Liverpool team pretty much confirms we’ll see a lot of our players rested as well.
