Comparison of results is going well - as it obviously would with a 100% record. Don't forget that we won the first 5 last season as well, and were looking very good at that stage - but not THIS good! We're 8 points better off on the comparable fixtures from last season:-

Last season, beat Sunderland at home 2-0 = 0 points
Lost at home to West Ham 2-1 = + 3 points
Lost at Stoke 2-0 = + another 3 points
Drew at the swamp 0 - 0 = +2 points

BMC was the last group game last season, and was a 4-2 win. (Beat them 2-1 away as well)
Bournemouth at home last season was a 5 -1 win

I really hope we can break the 90 point barrier this season. We have never done it in the premiership. Our fixtures between now and Christmas don't look too bad on paper. It would be great to lead the league from first day to last too! Not getting ahead of myself as I know we did this last season and look what happpened. Just concentrate on the next game now - 3 points vs Bournemouth and a clean sheet would be nice.

No idea why my words are underlined!!!

my maths can be crap but just as importantly I think we've already got as many points this season against the combined total points in the fixtures of the teams that finished 1, 2, 3 & 5th

Had to read that twice, but, yes - I agree.
As for 90 points - with the players yet to come in, and the fact that we can only get better, and better, and better - our potential is frightening; frightening forever more!

It's not all about results you know, I'm missing the wonderful football Pellegrini had us playing ;).

Pls dont reduce the excitement to mere points. With Pep, the journey is most satisfying, with several orgasmic moments. The result is a mere consequence. Just looking forward to the next game from this creative team. Its a happy feeling, knowing they will improve and there will be tactical tweaks a plenty too along the way.

Going well, but I'll be interested to see how we fare when we go a goal behind and the opponents have something to defend. The Swansea game should also reveal our intentions in respect to the domestic cups and how much of the squad Pep intends using.

Yaya will be in net
